Juliene Bartley

Administrative and Canine Training Manager

Juliene has raised dogs and horses — along with a menagerie of other animals — all of her life. She’s always harbored a deep love of animals, interest in all aspects of their care, and profound desire to find better ways to communicate with them. This drive to understand how animals think led her to pursue a career in animal behavior and training.

Aside from her lifetime of personal experience with her own animals, Juliene has over ten years of professional experience working with dogs — eight of which were earned in a Dog Daycare environment. In addition to working with dogs on an individual basis, Juliene is also well-versed in handling large groups of dogs.

Her training techniques are all based on positive reinforcement; she is certified in the first level of the Competency Assessment Program (CAP) – a program that assesses the ability of clicker trainers — has completed training in safe handling techniques and attended numerous seminars from top trainers regarding canine behavior. She is also certified by the Red Cross in Pet CPR and First Aid.

Juliene shares her life with four dogs –Cash, Taco, Zorra and Capone — and two horses – Gypsy and Kachina – With the exception of Cash, all are rescued and rehabilitated.  Juliene is pictured with her beloved Sasha, who waits for her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Jeremy Hinton

Facility and Operations Manager

Jeremy got “bitten” by the dog bug while employed at another local dog facility and we are lucky to have him join our pack!  His positive attitude and warm demeanor are a great addition to our team. Jeremy excels at leading a fun interactive play group and is a great “coach” to all the dogs under his supervision. When Jeremy isn’t enjoying enriching the day of the dogs at Pride and Pedigree, he spends his free time with his two dogs, Bonnie and Beansy.

Anika Dyer

Dog Care Specialist

Anika has several years of experience caring for dogs and cats as the owner of her own pet care business.  After a few years in the medical administrative field , she decided that adding more care for dogs in addition to her pet care business was where her passion lies.  When Anika isn’t at the beck and call of tiny dogs in the small dog room, she is cheering for the Black and Silver! Go Raiders!
